Jon Pardi is releasing “Tequila Little Time” off his highly-anticipated album Heartache Medication (Capitol Nashville), due out on Sept. 27th. “Tequila Little Time” opens with a wall of horns before dipping into a dreamy accordion and stylized string plucking and instrumentation, a sound rooted in the influences of mariachi bands. Written by Pardi, Rhett Akins and Luke Laird, the laid-back carefree song is about forgetting the past and having a little fun. See the story behind “Tequila Little Time” HERE. Heartache Medication is a collection of 14 feel-good tracks, with seven of them co-written by Pardi. “Don’t Blame It On Whiskey” features Lauren Alaina on vocals and was co-written by Eric Church, Miranda Lambert, Michael Heeney and Luke Laird. Pardi returns as a co-producer for the third time with Heartache Medication, and teams up again with California Sunrise co-producer Bart Butler and with Ryan Gore joining as first-time co-producer.
